Welcome
Upper Valley Connection was started in
the summer of 2001 because one young man with Down Syndrome got to
play baseball once—and talked about it for a year before he got to play
again. We are a recreation program
for youth and young adults with different abilities who live in the
Wenatchee Valley
of North Central Washington State. We believe that everyone ought to have the chance to have meaningful interactions with his or peers, whether while playing baseball, putting on a play, or simply hanging out with a movie and popcorn.

Spring UpdateSPECIAL OLYMPICS WINTER GAMES
The Icicle Trackers, our x-country ski team, completed their season by competing at the State Winter Games in March. All nine of our athletes did extremely well, each going home with at least 2 medals apiece. It was a beautiful day with great snow, thanks to the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club and Mother Nature. UPPER VALLEY HOOPS BASKETBALL The Hoops have been practicing their lay-ups and jump shots and making lots of baskets this spring. They're looking forward to their game with Leavenworth's Cascade Kodiaks! BASEBALL! The Upper Valley Sluggers will get started on their 12th season in May! This is what started Upper Valley Connection back in 2001 and we always get forward to getting back out on the field under blue skies and sunshine. |
